THE GALLERY OF CHAMPIONS - 2009 FYF COLTS

The Colts finished their season undefeated (9-0) with an exciting win in the Instructional League Championship Game defeating the FYF Falcons 8-7 in triple overtime.

FIRST HALF

The Colts scored three times in the first quarter to take an early 3-0 lead, but the Falcons roared back with four touchdowns of thier own to take a 4-3 lead into the half.
























HALFTIME - FALCONS 4, COLTS 3

The Colts had never trailed at intermission, so the coach's and the players had a new challenge to overcome.

The cheerleaders clearly brought their A-game.
















SECOND HALF - COLTS 5, FALCONS 5

The Colts defense stiffened and held the prolific Falcon offense to one touchdown in the third quarter.

The Colts opened the third quarter needing two touchdowns to tie and three to win. When DaRonn J scored on the first play of the quarter things were looking up.

But, the Falcons defense dug in and held the Colts to one more Clay G quarterback sneak TD late in the quarter to send the game to overtime.


























































































FIRST OVERTIME - COLTS 6, FALCONS 6

The Falcons got the ball first and scored on a touchdown run by QB Jackson E. The play was set up by a pass completion from Jackson E to Nathaniel W.

The Colts were do or die on fourth down when DaRonn J came through again with the game tieing touchdown run forcing the second overtime.
